1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

 

Personal information refers to various types of information recorded electronically or by other means that can, alone or in combination with other information, identify a specific natural person or reflect the activities of a specific natural person.

SIGSA only collects and uses your personal information for the purposes described in this policy.

(1) Purchasing and Delivering Products or Services

If you purchase SIGSA products or services from us, you will need to provide the following information to facilitate the transaction: your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, identification number, bank card number, and other identity, payment, and shipping information required to generate an order. If you do not provide this information, you will be unable to purchase SIGSA products and services.

(2) Using SIGSA Products or Services

In the course of using SIGSA products or services, you may need to provide us with the following information to ensure the proper functioning of SIGSA products and services: your device's geographic location, device configuration information, shared text or images, driving data (including sensor data, device data, and control data), etc. We may also collect your product usage logs, IP addresses used to access our products or services, timestamps, and similar information. If you refuse to provide such information, we will be unable to provide you with the corresponding services, but this will not affect your use of other features of SIGSA products and services.

  8. Information necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of the products and/or services provided, such as detecting and resolving faults;

  10. Information necessary for academic research institutions to conduct statistical or academic research in the public interest, where personal information contained in the results is de-identified when provided externally;

  11. Matters related to our compliance with obligations under laws and regulations;

  12. Other circumstances as prescribed by laws and regulations.

Your personal information may contain sensitive personal information, such as your race, religious beliefs, personal health status, or sexual orientation. When using our products or services, you may upload or publish such sensitive information on public channels. Please handle such sensitive personal information with caution.

The information you provide will be continuously authorized for our use during the period in which you use SIGSA products and services. When you cancel your account, we will cease using and delete the above information, except where laws and regulations require otherwise regarding retention periods.

The above information will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China. If cross-border transfer is required, we will conduct a security assessment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

When we intend to use your information for purposes not described in this policy, we will seek your prior consent. When we intend to use information collected for a specific purpose for other purposes, we will seek your prior consent.

For example, when you purchase our products online, we must share your personal information with logistics service providers to arrange delivery, or arrange for partners to provide services. Currently, SIGSA's authorized partners include our suppliers, service providers, and other partners. For example, data exchanged between your browser and our services (such as credit card information) is protected by SSL encryption; we provide HTTPS secure browsing for both the SIGSA Intelligent Automation and SIGSA Engineering websites; we use encryption technology to ensure data confidentiality; we use trusted protection mechanisms to prevent malicious attacks on data; we have established a dedicated department for personal information protection; we deploy access control mechanisms to ensure that only authorized personnel can access personal information; and we conduct security and privacy protection training to strengthen employees' awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.

We take all reasonably practicable measures to ensure that irrelevant personal information is not collected. We will retain your personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy, unless an extension of the retention period is required or permitted by law.

The internet is not an absolutely secure environment, and communications such as email, instant messaging, and exchanges with other SIGSA users are not encrypted. We strongly recommend that you do not send personal information through such methods. Please use complex passwords to help us ensure the security of your account.

The internet environment is not 100% secure. We will endeavor to ensure or warrant the security of any information you send to us. If our physical, technical, or administrative safeguards are breached, resulting in unauthorized access, public disclosure, alteration, or destruction of information that damages your legitimate rights and interests, we will bear the corresponding legal liability.

In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, promptly inform you of the basic facts and potential impact of the incident, the measures we have taken or will take, recommendations for you to independently prevent and mitigate risks, and remedial measures available to you. We will promptly notify you of the circumstances through email, letter, telephone, push notification, or other means. When it is difficult to notify each individual, we will issue a public announcement through reasonable and effective means. Account Information: If you wish to access or edit your personal profile and payment information, change your password, add security information, or close your account, you may do so by visiting the relevant pages such as personal profile and password change on our website or application. However, for security and identification purposes or as mandated by laws and regulations, you may not be able to modify the initial registration information provided at the time of registration.

(2) Correcting Your Personal Information

(3) Deleting Your Personal Information

You may submit a request to us to delete your personal information under the following circumstances:

  1. If our collection and use of personal information violates laws and regulations;

  2. If our processing of personal information violates our agreement with you.

If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify entities that have obtained your personal information from us, requiring them to delete it promptly, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations, or unless those entities have obtained your independent authorization.

After you or we assist you in deleting the relevant information, due to applicable laws and security technologies, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from backup systems. We will securely store your personal information and isolate it from further processing until the backups can be cleared or anonymized.

(4) Changing the Scope of Your Consent

Each business function requires certain basic personal information to be completed (see Part 1 of this policy). For the collection and use of additionally collected personal information, you may grant or withdraw your consent at any time.

Once you withdraw your consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect the processing of personal information previously carried out based on your authorization.

If you do not wish to receive commercial advertising from us, you may unsubscribe at any time through the method provided in our emails or text messages.

After account cancellation, we will cease providing products or services to you and, at your request, delete your personal information, except as otherwise required by laws and regulations.

In principle, we do not charge fees for your reasonable requests. However, for requests that are repeated multiple times or exceed reasonable limits, we may charge a certain cost. We may refuse requests that are groundlessly repetitive, require excessive technical means (e.g., requiring the development of new systems or fundamentally changing existing practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are highly impractical (e.g., involving information stored on backup tapes).

Under the following circumstances, we will be unable to respond to your request in accordance with laws and regulations:

  1. Matters directly related to national security or national defense;

  2. Matters directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;

  3. Matters directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;

  4. Sufficient evidence indicates that you have subjective malice or are abusing your rights;

  5. Responding to your request would cause serious harm to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;

  6. Matters involving the protection of your or another individual's vital legitimate interests such as life and property, where it is difficult to obtain your consent;

  7. Matters involving trade secrets;

  8. Matters related to our compliance with obligations under laws and regulations.

6. How We Handle Children's Personal Information

 

Our products, websites, and services are primarily intended for adults. Children may not create their own user accounts without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Where children's personal information is collected with parental consent, we will only use or publicly disclose such information where permitted by law, with the explicit consent of a parent or guardian, or where necessary to protect the child.

Although local laws and customs may define "child" differently, we consider any person under the age of 14 to be a child.
