Warranty Policy
Effective Date: July 9th, 2024
Limited User Warranty Policy
SIGSA Intelligent Automation, Inc. ("SIGSA") warrants each new product, under the terms, conditions, and exceptions contained herein, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use, care, maintenance, and necessary servicing. The commencement of the warranty, the warranty period, and the exceptions to this limited warranty are set forth in the product list contained in this document and are subject to change at the sole discretion of SIGSA Intelligent Automation, Inc.
Applicable Products
This policy applies to the lighting products and electronic speed controller (ESC) products of SIGSA, a brand under SIGSA Intelligent Automation, Inc., including but not limited to warning lights, lights and sirens control system, LED lighting, ESC kit assemblies, and complete propulsion system units.
Specific Exceptions
This limited warranty does not apply to or extend to products not manufactured by SIGSA or products manufactured by SIGSA on behalf of other manufacturers. Such products may be covered by separate limited warranties provided by the respective manufacturers, and all claims and inquiries regarding those products should be directed to the specific manufacturer. Goods procured by the seller from third parties and resold to the buyer shall be warranted solely by the original manufacturer.
Bulbs, lenses, optics, and batteries installed in SIGSA lighting products, and casings, propellers, proprotors, and bearings installed in SIGSA propulsion system products, are not covered under this warranty except as specifically noted in the Product Warranty Period Schedule below. Repair or replacement of any product or component under this warranty does not extend the warranty period; such products or components shall be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days from the date of return to SIGSA, whichever is later. This limited warranty applies only to the initial installation of the product. This limited warranty does not cover the following:
-
Damage caused by negligence, abuse, misuse, improper installation, inadequate maintenance, improper use of cleaning materials or chemicals, operation at voltages exceeding the rated specification, or failure to comply with SIGSA's storage, installation, operation, maintenance, or environmental requirements.
-
Any modification or repair performed without prior written authorization from SIGSA, or any service, repair, or modification provided by any entity other than a SIGSA-authorized repair service center or technician, or the use of unauthorized software, spare parts, or replacement parts.
-
Failure due to reasonable and normal use or wear, or failure resulting from materials manufactured, supplied, or specified by the buyer or end user.
The use of magnetic-mount or suction-cup warning lights installed on the roof or exterior of a moving vehicle is entirely at the user's own discretion and risk. SIGSA makes no warranties or guarantees for equipment used in this manner.
Additional Exceptions for ESC Kit Assemblies
ESC kit assemblies ("Kit ESCs") are sold as factory-assembled and tested circuit boards. The end user is required only to solder external wires—including battery input leads, motor phase wires, and signal/control wires—to complete installation. The buyer acknowledges that improper wire soldering techniques—including but not limited to solder bridging between adjacent pads, cold solder joints, overheating of board-mounted components near solder points, incorrect wire gauge, or reversed polarity wiring—can cause immediate and irreversible damage upon power-on. SIGSA assumes no liability for damage resulting from user wiring. In addition to the general exceptions above, this limited warranty does not cover Kit ESC products under the following circumstances:
-
Any damage resulting from the user's soldering of external wires, including but not limited to: solder bridges between pads or traces, heat damage to nearby surface-mount components, lifted pads at wire solder points, or mechanical damage to the board caused during wire installation.
-
Damage caused by powering on the ESC with incorrect battery voltage, reversed polarity, without a proper load (motor) connected, or without proper phase connections.
-
Damage caused by the use of incorrect wire gauge, improper wire stripping length, or inadequate insulation that results in short circuits.
For any post-assembly warranty claim on Kit ESC products, the buyer or end user must provide clear, high-resolution photographs of the board's wire solder points and the overall wiring installation. SIGSA reserves the right to deny claims where photographic evidence or physical inspection reveals damage caused by user wiring.
Additional Exceptions for Complete Propulsion System Units
Complete propulsion system units (ESC, motor, and propeller/proprotor assemblies) are factory-assembled, tested, and calibrated by SIGSA. In addition to the general exceptions above, this limited warranty does not cover:
-
Propellers and proprotors, which are consumable components subject to wear, impact, and environmental degradation. Propellers and proprotors are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery only.
-
Damage caused by crashes, foreign object strikes, hard landings, or any form of impact damage to the motor, propeller, or housing.
-
Motor bearing wear resulting from normal use, or accelerated bearing degradation due to operation in dusty, sandy, humid, saline, or otherwise corrosive environments.
-
Operation outside the rated voltage, current, or thrust specifications published by SIGSA for the specific propulsion system model.
-
Damage caused by connection to incompatible flight controllers, power distribution systems, or batteries, or operation without proper electronic arming sequences.
Within the specific warranty periods set forth below, SIGSA will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace products or specific components found to be defective in materials or workmanship, or issue a refund for the purchase price of such products or components. The buyer or end user shall bear the cost of shipping the product to SIGSA or its designated warranty service center. SIGSA will cover the cost of shipping repaired or replaced products back to the buyer or end user. If a returned product is found not to meet the conditions of the warranty policy, the buyer or end user shall bear the cost of return shipping.
No representative of any individual or company is authorized to alter the terms of this warranty, grant any other warranty, extend the period or duration of this warranty, or assume any other liability on behalf of SIGSA in connection with the sale, servicing, or repair of any product manufactured by SIGSA.
SIGSA Intelligent Automation, Inc. reserves the right to make design changes and improvements to its products without prior notice, and also reserves the right to interpret or modify this warranty policy.
The use of any third-party components other than those approved by SIGSA Intelligent Automation, Inc. in its products may void this warranty. SIGSA reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether the use of unapproved components voids this warranty.
In no event shall SIGSA Intelligent Automation, Inc. be liable to the purchaser for any special, compensatory, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of sales, loss of use, or loss of business opportunity arising from or through the use of the product.
This warranty expressly supersedes all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, regardless of whether any essential purpose is fulfilled.
Warranty Claim Process

ESC Kit Assemblies
Phase 1 — Pre-Assembly Inspection: Fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery.
The factory-assembled circuit board and all included accessories are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship as shipped. The buyer is expected to visually inspect the board for any shipping damage or visible defects prior to soldering any wires. Defective or damaged boards reported within this period will be replaced at no charge.
